The students of the Goethe-Mozart School are happy, because today’s schedule features music lessons with the cajons financed by the Hans Thomann Foundation once more. Each student has their own instrument and you can see the pride in their eyes: “Boom, bash, boom boom, bash,” says the teacher aloud, and the students drum diligently. “Even at home, I now drum up the rhythms that I learn at school,” reports one student enthusiastically.

Thanks to the support of the Hans Thomann Foundation, we now have completely new possibilities. We can provide each child with an instrument and thus enable lessons on the instrument from an early age. The Ukulele group also benefits from this for the warm-up and conclusion. At the school enrolment ceremony, our former first graders also have their first performance with the instruments. Everyone is already very excited.

Many thanks on behalf of the entire school family
