The aim of the Foundation is the support of education, training, the arts and cultural initiatives especially in the area of music and charity generally.

These aims are to be met in particular through

a) Support for musical work and education in schools, kindergartens and other public service institutions,

b) Funding of measures and events intended to raise young people’s interest in music, for example by supporting music classes or meetings with musicians,

c) Support of not-for-profit music schools and music clubs,

d) Support for the gifted and for artists, for example by awarding prizes or bursaries,

e) Holding musical competitions/arts events,

f) Maintenance and conservation of cultural goods, for example musical collections,

g) Support for not-for-profit cultural institutions, such as orchestras and musical theatres,

h) Support for all established styles and types of music,

i) Financial support for needy creative musicians such as singer/songwriters or students of music in accordance with clause 53 sections 1 and 2 of the German Tax Code.

The Foundation thus solely and immediately pursues objectives of public benefit in accordance with the intention of the section “Tax-Exempt Objectives” of the German Tax Code.
