In 2024, the Bamberg Municipal Music School celebrated its 75th anniversary. More than 1,600 students of all ages currently attend the school, which, as the second largest music school in Upper Franconia, offers elementary music practice, instrumental and voice lessons, music circles, ensembles, orchestras, choirs, chamber music and bands.

On the occasion of our anniversary, we received a generous donation from the Thomann Foundation, which we have been able to put to good use by scheduling maintenance of our percussion instruments and purchasing two new piano benches.

Making music together in ensembles of all kinds is a major focus of our work is. So our guitar circle is over the moon with their new acoustic bass!
