Here it is, right in front of us: a cajon … and much more!

To kick of the 2024 school year, we received a fantastic delivery from the Hans Thomann Foundation. Included were large and small cajons (wooden drums) as well as a stage piano. In addition, we received a stage element and a spotlight to expand our stage.

Even as out students were still unpacking the boxes, there was a buzz of joy, and the they kept asking, “Is all this for us?”. Immediately, a thunderstorm of cajon drumming rolled in, and the first rhythm exercises began. At the end, the question on everyone’s lips was, “When will we continue drumming?”

Thanks to the support of the Hans Thomann Foundation, we now have completely new possibilities. We can provide each child with an instrument and thus give them the opportunity to take lessons on the instrument from an early age. The stage piano now accompanies the children in their singing.

We are looking forward to the first performances on our stage!
