The budding teenage musicians frequenting the “Jugendhaus@21” youth centre are over the moon!

Thanks to the Hans Thomann Foundation’s generous donations, these teenagers, who can only afford instruments and equipment with difficulty if at all, can now try out and practise on technical equipment for vocals, an e-guitar, and e-bass and a drum set. The youth centre is the grateful recipient of everything necessary to kit out a small beginner band.

  • technical equipment for vocals, including a mic
  • equipment (instrument cables, guitar straps, drum sticks and ear protectors)

Next year’s plan is to remodel the youth centre’s basement, turning it into 4 rehearsal rooms. In future, we hope to set up a small recording studio as well, where the young musicians can produce their own songs themselves.

But teenagers who don’t own any instruments would not have been able to make use of this opportunity. Now, everyone who is interested can join the fun!

We hope that as many teenagers as possible can discover for themselves the joy of making music themselves, and take advantage of the opportunity to give free rein to their creativity.
